How It Started: Harvard VISION
The CBT-I Project began with the Harvard VISION Global Health Pitch Competition, where I developed a public health intervention to address adolescent sleep health.
The project proposes that high schools adopt Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)—the first-line treatment for insomnia—as a school-wide initiative. By integrating CBT-I into schools, the project aims to make evidence-based sleep treatment accessible to students, promote healthy sleep habits, and emphasize the essential role of sleep in overall mental health and academic and athletic performance.
Global Health and Leadership Conference at Harvard VISION — “Addressing Adolescent Insomnia through School based CBT-I”
I developed a formal grant proposal for this project, detailing its background, objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes.
The proposal explains how CBT-I could be implemented in schools, including logistics, case studies, and projected costs, offering a comprehensive plan to improve adolescent sleep wellness at the community level.
